ST XIFE QUICKSTART
------------------
Setup

1) I recommend that for best results and least hassle you right click on your imaging
programs(mdisk/imgbuild/disk2fdi) before using ST Xife and :

> select PROPERTIES
> go to the PROGRAM tab
> check the CLOSE ON EXIT box at the bottom
> Apply the new settings and exit.

This ensures that the MS-DOS programs shut automatically when they finish their work.

2) Ensure all imaging program files are placed in ST Xife folder (so Frontend can find
and run them)
Makedisk.exe, Imgbuild.exe, Disk2fdi.com MUST be placed in the same folder as ST Xife!

Program Use.

3) Place floppy disk in disk drive (probably better to ensure the write protect is on just
in case).

4) Double click and load ST Xife

5) Select imaging Program from application menu

6) Select Mode

7) Select Disk Properties

8) Select image name or browse for file (Hit the image name button - action depends on
mode selected).

9) Select any additional and/or extra settings

10) Hit the start button

11) Once windows message appears saying that imaging is complete the process is finished.

12) All files created (READ OR EMPTY Mode) will appear in ST Xife directory
Cleaned Files will appear in ST Xife directory (your original will be untouched)
All Written files stay in their original place.
