Snippit Synth by Electronic Cow was released in 1997. Not a Sample Editor in the truest sense, moreover Snippit Synth is a Wavetable Generator of sorts, developed for all TOS computers. It allows the creation of your own sounds via common periodoc waveforms. i.e Sine, Square, Sawtooth and Triangle waveforms, and custom waveforms. Custom allows an AVR, AIFF or RAW sample to be loaded to create complex wavetables. Samples can be saved as patches, or exported as an AVR, AIFF or RAW sample, in 8 or 16-bit, up to a frequency of 50 kHz. Snippit Synth also supports sample dump to the Akai S900 / S950 Samplers, and all other Samplers via MIDI SDS.
