Synchro Express II Schematics - A Beeblebrox Industries Unlimited Product.

As most of you probably know, Datel have been bragging about their "custom" LSI chip in their Synchro Express cartridge. Well, it IS NOT even a custom chip!!

I recently got hold of a Synchro Express II where the IC's number was not properly removed - it said 74LS04. A simple inverter gate!!! But the even more strange thing is that they haven't even connected +5V to VCC of the IC, nor connected both inputs AND outputs of it. I think the IC is there just to make pirates who wants to build a Synchro Express. But now TLT brings you the complete package for making your own Synchro....

One thing you must know: SYNCHRO modes 1 & 2 only seems to work with very good diskdrives with constant speed - it worked for me with 2 epson drives, but not with one epson and one other drive.

But anyway, it's great to have..... Good luck!! But remember that piracy is illegal... HAHAHAHAHAHAHAHA!!!! Crime is our bussiness and business is good!!!!!

The things you need for this construction is the following: 1 x 25 DSUB Male 1 x 74LS04 1 x 14 Pin DIN Male 1 x 14 Pin DIN Female.

The Male is for the computer jack, and the female for the other diskdrive. And the DSUB... The printer output of course!!!!!!!
